This door knob has been used since the 1890s but the maker and style are not known. This version was painted a khaki-grey at one point and the paint has eroded over time to this nice chocolate color. Sitting atop a chrome wine stopper to give it a little contrast, it will work nicely with most popular wine bottles, as shown here.
