This wine stopper is composed of a classic Lockwood door knob that was first shown in 1897 and this model was made in 1914. The chocolate patina gives it that classic look attributed to its age. It sits atop a standard wine bottle but might also be used for an olive oil or perfume stopper with the proper bottle neck diameter.
